Congratulations to CORFAC's 2017 COR$TAR Award Winners

CORFAC International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 COR$TAR Awards, which recognize individuals and firms for their referral transaction activity within the network.

The awards were presented during the annual awards dinner at the CORFAC Spring Conference in Austin, Texas, on March 2. The awards recognize the largest member-to-member referral transactions in the office, industrial, retail and investment/other sectors for both volume and square footage as well as the firms and individuals with the most referrals in the previous year.

2017 COR$TAR winners include:

Largest Industrial Award – Dollar Value 
Referring broker Barry Bram, CCIM, LEED, of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in San Francisco, CA, worked with David Prior, SIOR, of The Klabin Co./CORFAC International in Los Angeles, CA, on a $10.6 million lease in Los Angeles on behalf of the Liss family.

Largest Industrial Award – Square Feet
Steve Podolsky, SIOR, of Podolsky Circle/CORFAC International in Chicago, collaborated with Treat Macdonald, CCIM, SIOR, of Crump Commercial/CORFAC International in Memphis, TN, on a 298,590-square-foot lease for XPO Logistics, Inc., in Memphis.

Largest Office Award – Dollar Value
Referring brokers David Prior, SIOR, and Todd Taugner, SIOR, of The Klabin Co./CORFAC International, Los Angeles, worked with Sam Olmstead and Michael Hefner, SIOR, of Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International in Irvine, CA, on an office lease for Ducommun, Inc., in Santa Ana, CA, valued at more than $2.9 million.

Largest Office Award – Square Feet
Russell Todd of Centric Commercial/CORFAC International in Austin, TX, worked with Susan Singer, CCIM, of Bradford Commercial Real Estate/CORFAC International in Dallas, TX, to complete an 11,241-square-foot lease for JW Logistics in Frisco, Texas.

Largest Retail Award – Dollar Value
Jean Ko of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in San Francisco, CA, collaborated with Josh Gispan of Meacham Oppenheimer/CORFAC International in San Jose, CA, to complete a lease valued at more than $5.9 million for Alexander’s Steak House & Bakery in San Francisco.

Largest Retail Award – Square Feet
Referring broker Tim Cherre of Sansone Group/CORFAC International in St. Louis, MO, worked with Dan Gostylo of Providence Real Estate Services/CORFAC International, San Antonio, TX, on an 18,300-square-foot lease in Round Rock, Texas, on behalf of La Fronterra Village, L.P.

Largest Investment Award – Dollar Value
Peter Castleton of Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International in Irvine, CA, worked with Terrence Jones of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in San Francisco, to complete the $6.2 million sale of a Santa Clara, CA, building on behalf of Bank of the West.

Largest Investment Award – Square Feet
Andy Jaffe of Commercial Properties Inc./CORFAC International in Tempe, AZ, collaborated with Kurt Walsh of ProTen Group/CORFAC International in Chicago, IL, in representing client DIV HDV Roosevelt LLC on the transfer of a 158,846-square-foot building and a 3-acre landsite in Chicago.

Most Referrals – Individual Broker
Tim Cherre, CRX, CLS, of Sansone Group/CORFAC International in St. Louis referred 13 transactions in the network last year. 

Most Referrals – Firm
Sansone Group/CORFAC International in St. Louis led the network with 13 referrals to other member firms during 2017.
