Alfred J. Zacher, SIOR and Chairman/Founder of the Zacher Company/CORFAC International in Fort Wayne, ID, was honored in May by the joint college Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne (IPFW) with a Champion’s Award for his service as an ambassador in connecting the university with the community.Zacher has supported the IPFW in many ways over the past several years. He was instrumental in helping the university develop the collaborative arrangements that resulted in the relocation of PBS 39 (the Fort Wayne public television station) and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic to campus property. He has also advised IPFW on local real estate issues and continues to be an excellent resource for the universities.
