Voits Seth Davenport Runs for the Wounded Warrior Project
Senior Vice President
Seth Davenport, an eight-year veteran in
Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International’s Anaheim office, recently completed a grueling 50-mile run to raise awareness of and raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that is committed to honoring and empowering wounded servicemen and women. Though he has never been a runner in the past, Davenport says the Wounded Warrior Project inspired him to begin the rigorous training program that was essential to complete the difficult Leona Divide, a 50-mile trail run in Lake Hughes, Calif. Davenport completed the run in 13.5 hours and battled through “dust storms, frigid high winds in the morning and very dry heat in the afternoon, leading to bouts of severe sickness, dizzy spells, and delusions as I fought through the day,” he said.Davenport raised $60,000 for the cause and urges other CORFAC professionals to help; and donations can be made by visiting www.50miles4heroes.com.
