Two CORFAC International Principals Inducted Into Inaugural Class of Midwest Real Estate News’ Hall of Fame Steven H. Podolsky, SIOR, and Principal of Podolsky Northstar CORFAC InternationalAnthony F. Sansone, Sr., Chief Executive Officer of Sansone Group/CORFAC InternationalSteven H. Podolsky, SIOR, and Principal of Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International (Chicago) and Anthony F. Sansone, Sr., Chief Executive Officer of Sansone Group/CORFAC International (St. Louis) have been inducted into the inaugural class of the Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by Midwest Real Estate News (MWREN). The awards commemorate more than four decades of significant accomplishments by each man in commercial real estate and for contributing to the industry and supporting their respective communities.Podolsky and Sansone Sr. are two of only 60 commercial real estate professionals across the 14-state region covered by MWREN to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The honor has been bestowed on brokers, developers, contractors, attorneys and financial sources. MWREN solicited real estate professionals throughout the Midwest for nominations of their peers and then selected this inaugural 60.“This is a tremendous honor for me personally,” Podolsky said. “And it is the result of doing the right things: serving our clients to the best of my ability and giving back to my professional, geographic and philanthropic communities that have served me so well throughout my career.”Podolsky’s real estate brokerage and consulting expertise over four decades has resulted in many repeat clients, both in Chicago and across the country, including Supervalu (Jewel/Osco), Baer Supply Company, Lake Cable, LLC, McMaster Carr Supply Company and New Breed Logistics, Inc. He is a co-founder and Past President of Corporate Facility Advisors (CORFAC International).Anthony F. Sansone, Sr. founded Sansone Group in 1957 and serves as Principal, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Sansone Group, which started with only two employees, has grown to 160 full-time employees with seven offices in four states, and property in 14 states throughout the Midwest, Texas and Florida.Under his leadership, Sansone Group has developed over 7 million square feet of retail, office and industrial buildings and 1,000 residential units. Mr. Sansone was the first developer in the State of Missouri to use Tax Increment Financing in 1985, on what would be his tenth retail development. In all, he has developed 32 shopping centers and 16 freestanding Walgreens stores, and has a growing portfolio in excess of 22 million square feet of operating property valued at $2.5 billion.
