Kevin Turner of Voit Commercial Brokerage Receives 2009 Man of Character Award

Coto De Caza, Calif. -- Kevin Turner, senior vice president of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Irvine office, was awarded the 2009 Man of Character award by the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
"I'm humbled and thankful for the recognition," explained Turner after receiving the award. Turner also reiterated the Boy Scout principles, to put "God first, family, the value of hard work and having fun."

Turner's nomination was a unanimous choice given his long-term commitment to charity, which personifies the true meaning of a Man of Character. Although never a Boy Scout himself, all of Turner's three children have gone through the Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs. Turner received this award as recognition of his active involvement in several community charities including his recent role as a board member for Education for Children. Turner has also been involved with CoxCares Teacher of the Week, Pop Warner Football and Little League Baseball in Santa Margarita.

As senior vice president for Voit Commercial Brokerage's Irvine office, Turner is one of Orange County's leading commercial real estate brokers and has represented several Fortune 500 companies both nationally and locally. Among Turner's clients are some of Orange County's most prominent developers and landlords, including The Irvine Company, The Koll Company, Bacchus Development and WCV Commercial.
