While in Las Vegas, we were honored and excited to present the 2012 COR$TAR awards recognizing CORFAC brokers.  These annual awards recognize  two or more brokers who represented a single client and company in a completed multi-market transaction.

Contratulations to all of our winners –  brokers who referred transactions to other CORFAC Affiliates.  The winners were:

Top Office Lease by Size and Dollar Value
Jeffrey Garibaldi and Gerald Moore of Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International (based in Chatham, NJ) referred a leasing assignment to Adam Nachlas, SIOR of Manekin, LLC/CORFAC International (based in Baltimore, MD) who subsequently secured a 24,033-square-foot office lease on behalf of DRS Defense Solutions LLC in Rockville, MD. The lease was valued at $4.3 million.

Top Industrial Lease by Dollar Value
Scott Madsen, SIOR, Capacity Commercial Group/CORFAC International (based in Portland, OR) referred a leasing assignment to Steven Tick, SIOR, Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International (based in Chicago, IL) who subsequently secured a 236,273-square-foot industrial facility on behalf of Johnstone Supply in Joliet, IL.  The lease was valued at $7.5 million.

Top Industrial Transaction by Size
Steven Podolsky, SIOR, Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International based in Chicago, IL) referred a leasing assignment to Treat MacDonald, SIOR, CCIM, Crump Commercial, LLC/CORFAC International (based in Memphis, TN) who subsequently secured a 404,400-square-foot industrial facility on behalf of New Breed Logistics in Memphis, TN.

Top Land Deal
J. Michael Boyd, SIOR, CRE, Boyd Commercial, LLC/CORFAC International (based in Houston, TX) referred a land sale requirement to Daniel Gostylo and Phil Crane of Providence Commercial RES/CORFAC International (based in San Antonio, TX) who subsequently sold 35 acres of land in San Antonio, TX on behalf of WW Rowland Trucking Company. The property sold for $1.95 million.

Top Retail Lease by Size
Tim Cherre of Sansone Group/CORFAC International (based in St. Louis, MO) referred a leasing assignment to Daniel Gostylo of Providence Commercial RES/CORFAC International (based in San Antonio, TX) who subsequently secured a 21,530-square-foot property leased by La Frontera Village in Austin, TX.

Top Retail Lease by Value
Scott Savacool, SIOR, CCIM of Sansone Group/CORFAC International (based in St. Louis, MO) referred a leasing assignment to Brett Zelner, Lansco Corporation/CORFAC International (based in New York, NY) who subsequently secured a 1,500-square-foot retail location in Manhattan, NY for Scottrade, Inc. The value of the lease was $2.24 million and it was the 274th completed lease transaction in North America that Scott Savacool has participated in on behalf of his client Scottrade.

Most Referrals by Broker and Company
Tim Cherre of St. Louis-based Sansone Group/CORFAC International was named the overall Top Producer with 14 referred and completed lease or sale transactions throughout the CORFAC organization in 2012.  The Sansone Group/CORFAC International received the award for top referring firm, with 26 outbound CORFAC referrals.
