CORFAC Conferences are a great way for you to network and learn from other CORFAC Affiliates.  Here are a few ways you can work to get the most out of the 2014 Spring Conference in San Francisco.

  • Look at the conference schedule and decide which committee meetings, conference sessions, and events you should attend.  Make sure to make time to spend time with other attendees in and out of sessions.
  • Plan to meet with Brokers you would like to do business with.  Coordinate ahead of time to eat breakfast, lunch, or share a drink with a broker so you can make that connection. CORFAC HQ can provide you with an attendee list after the February 24 early-bird deadline.
  • Sit in on a committee meeting. The conference is a great way to learn more about how CORFAC works, and how you can influence CORFAC’s present and future.
  • Attend the Broker Support, Next Gen, or Principal sessions.  They are a great way for you to meet attendees in the same position you are in – and learn from them.
  • While at the conference, get the contact information of every attendee you want to do business with – and follow-up with them after the event.  It’s a great way to keep the lines of communication (and business) open.
  • Have fun! CORFAC events are a great time to relax, talk, and get to know other brokers, and as we all know, relationships build business!

Registration for the 2014 Spring Conference is now open.  Register by February 24 to qualify for the early-bird rate.  Email christy@corfac.com with any questions.
