I  just read a blog by  on Marketing Pilgrim about Small Businesses Using Social Media for Marketing.  This is something that comes up on CORFAC conference calls – is social media worth the time?

My answer is yes – it’s a low cost way to get your brand out into the world.  For just minutes of your time every day, you can reach potential clients, media, and the general public with your listings and news of your recent transactions.

According to a study by LinkedIn, other small businesses are benefiting by using social media to generate leads and maintain brand awareness. The graphic below shows how small businesses  use social media to achieve their marketing goals.
