Kurt Walsh with Chicago, IL-based ProTen Realty Group/CORFAC International  won CORFAC International’s Charlie King MVP Award, while Andy Jaffe, SIOR, with Commercial Properties Inc./CORFAC International, based in Tempe, AZ, won the Olen Monsees Award.

The annual Charlie King MVP Award is the highest recognition bestowed by CORFAC International. It recognizes the person who is the ‘Most Valuable Player’ for his or her on-going and significant volunteer contributions to CORFAC International. Charlie King is one of the founders of CORFAC International (1989), as well as the founder of King Industrial Realty/CORFAC International based in Atlanta, GA. The award was created to recognize King’s dedication to CORFAC.

The inaugural Olen Monsees Award recognizes an individual member who goes above and beyond the call of duty without being asked, the ‘Unsung Hero’ of the network. Olen Monsees (1940-2012) was the president of Karbank Real Estate Company/CORFAC International in Kansas City, MO. He worked with a natural sense of responsibility, without complaint or excuses.

WalshWalsh was recognized for his tireless contributions to CORFAC’s Transactions Committee. As chair for four consecutive years, Walsh drives CORFAC’s mission to generate new business with CORFAC affiliates. He leads a session at every CORFAC conference to encourage discussions and business development between firms around the world. Walsh was also the winner, along with his business partner, Renee Betzelos, of the 2013 COR$TAR Award for the top value office deal.

JaffeJaffe has been a consistent contributor to CORFAC International and its committees and conferences. Most recently, Jaffe was elected as an At-Large Member of the 2015 Executive Committee of CORFAC International. He has served on numerous CORFAC committees over the years and is currently the moderator of the Western Regional webinars to facilitate business development. Jaffe has served as the billing broker on several COR$TAR winning referral deals over the years.
