Bio
Mr. Qiu is a principal of TRI Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc./CORFAC International. Since 1987, Mr. Qiu has completed assignments for many institutional and wealthy investor/clients such as banks, insurance companies, public-traded companies, REITs, developers, private family trusts, wealthy individuals, and other local and foreign investors. During the past 29+ years, Mr. Qiu has successfully handled more than $1.8 billion dollar worth of commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Qiu has received numerous awards for his professional achievements including San Francisco Business Times' Deal of the Year award. Mr. Qiu has been one of the top producers of the company in the past 25+ years. Mr. Qiu was overall #1 Top Producer of the entire company in ten (15) consecutive years during the period of 2002 - 2016. Prior to joining TRI, Anton was employed by SED Investment, Inc., a boutique investment banking and stock brokerage firm as portfolio analyst. Mr. Qiu graduated from San Francisco State University in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Finance and a minor in International Business. Mr. Qiu also holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Shanghai Normal University. Mr. Qiu is a native of Shanghai, China. Mr. Qiu currently serves as Vice Chairman of San Francisco-Shanghai Sister City Committee (Mayor Gavin Newsom's appointee). Mr. Qiu also served on the Board of Directors of The Pacific Bank, a NASDAQ listed company, from 1997 to 2001 and was also Chairman of PB Insurance and Wealth Management Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Pacific Bank. Mr. Qiu was elected and served as a member of both executive committee and Board of Directors of The Greater San Francisco Bay Area Association of Realtors during 1990 - 1996. Mr. Qiu was an active member of both the Executive Committee and the board of The 1990 Institute during 1990 - 2000. He is also past Chairman of the Asian Council of San Francisco Association of Realtors, and past-president of the China Business Association, which he co-founded in 1987. Mr. Qiu has been an active member of Hong Kong Association of Northern California since 1987 and a member of Peninsula Chinese-American Business Association. Mr. Qiu has been regularly quoted and interviewed on topics and issues concerning U.S. - Asia/Pacific relations and Pacific Rim investments in California by San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner newspapers, San Francisco Business Times, The Registry Magazine, Asian Week, The Oakland Tribune, World Journal, Sing-Tao Newspapers, Bay Area Real Estate Magazine, KGO radio, KPIX-TV, KTSF-TV, Voice of America, Metro-News and Financial Times of Hong Kong. Mr. Qiu was selected by December 1992 issue of The City Magazine as one of the "Nine Rising Stars and People to Know in 1993" in San Francisco. Mr. Qiu was invited to serve as a guest-lecturer in UC Berkeley Haas Business School in the past and recently served as Guest Lecturer at Shanghai Jiao Tung University's Business School (June 2010).
