Bio

Alistair is a Partner and Head of our Investment team.

Alastair provides specialist strategic advice on disposal, acquisition and the restructuring of investment and development interests, across Central London, with a particular focus on Midtown and South Bank markets through their Union Street Partners platform. Asset management also forms an integral part of the Investment process. This advice is delivered, based on Alastair’s extensive experience, working in the Central London market for more than 25 years.

Before joining Farebrother, Alastair advised on numerous Midtown and City transactions at Cushman & Wakefield. These included the acquisition of Lonsdale Chambers, WC2, and 8-10 New Fetter Lane, EC4 – both substantial redevelopment schemes. In the City he advised on the purchase of Woolgate Exchange, EC2, the forward purchase of One Lothbury, EC2 and the site acquisition of 67 Lombard Street, EC3.

After joining Farebrother in 2010, Alastair continues to advise clients using a combination of analytic research-driven insight and hands-on experience. In respect to recent sales, he was involved in the disposal of 20 Old Bailey, EC4, for Mitsui Fudosan, The Rolls Building, EC4 for Delancey, 20 Red Lion Street, WC1, and Summit House, 11-12, Red Lion Square, WC1 on behalf of Aviva and Barnards Inn, 86 Fetter Lane, EC4, on behalf of THRE. He is also currently involved in Development Consultancy in respect to the Waterloo International Terminal, on behalf of LCR.

His clients cover a broad spectrum so UK Institutions such as those above and CBREI and Columbia Threadneedle, Standard Life and Picton. Corporates and UK Property Companies such as Land Securities, Derwent London, Deerbrook and UK Developers and Private UK Investor businesses. He has also acted on behalf of a number of Overseas Investors based in Ireland, mainland Europe, the Middle and Far East.
