Hollywood, FL & Atlanta, GA (January 13, 2009) –CORFAC Internationalhas expanded the range of the alliance by adding The Walker Companiesof Atlanta, Georgia in a new category for the real estate organization – Consulting Affiliate.

“We’re pleased to have The Walker Companies on board and believe the firm adds a unique resource to CORFAC International with a set of skills, specialized expertise and a service that complements the primary role of our organization’s brokers and property managers,” said Dan Gostylo, who chairs the CORFAC Affiliation Development Committee and is also a principal in Providence Commercial Real Estate Services/CORFAC International, in San Antonio, TX.

Gostylo said that CORFAC’s Consulting Affiliate category will be available to other companies (including non-brokerage firms) that are able to furnish unique services and resources to CORFAC firms and their clients.

Founded by Raymond C. Walker in 1987 and based in Atlanta, GA,The Walker Companiesadvise major corporations seeking new distribution centers or manufacturing plants nationwide. The firm’s services include location analysis, site selection, incentive and real estate negotiations, and turnkey development services, including design and construction management.The Walker Companies recently completed engagements for Macy’s, AutoZone and ArcelorMittal.

Gostylo said that the decision to add a new level of affiliation within the CORFAC organization was part of the organization’s strategic plan approved by its Board of Directors in 2007. Other initiatives of the plan that were introduced this year include the Next Generation Initiative; commenced in July by the formation of an advisory panel of 12 young CORFAC leaders to ensure the referral organization’s continued growth, viability and future success.
