Mexico City Trip

Join your CORFAC colleagues from Citius Capital/CORFAC International for a trip to Mexico City, March 1-3. This program will be held prior to the start of the 2020 Spring Conference in Playa del Carmen. Please note: There is no registration fee to attend the Mexico City event, but participants are responsible for their own hotel, travel and meal expenses. 

Hotel and RSVP Details
Book your hotel room today at the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City. Special reduced rates for CORFAC members start at $245 USD for a single room, including breakfast, Internet and taxes. Call the hotel at  (800) 344-0548 or e-mail mexico_grupos@grupopresidente.com and mention the code "Citius Capital" to receive the reduced rate. The hotel is located within walking distance of some of the most prestigious shopping centers, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. 

There is no registration fee to attend the Mexico City trip, but please RSVP your attendance to Diann Harris at CORFAC headquarters at diann@corfac.com so we can maintain an accurate count of attendees. 

Schedule of Events

Sunday, March 1

  • Arrive in Mexico City 
  • 7:00 pm-10:00 pm -- Group Dinner at Rosa Negra -- Join your CORFAC colleagues for a Welcome Dinner at Rosa Negra, which offers an extraordinary culinary experience that includes gastronomic traditions from countries like Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and of course, Mexico. The restaurant is an 8-minute walk from the hotel. Each participant will pay for their own food and drinks at the meal.

Monday, March 2

  • 7:00 am-8:00 am -- Breakfast on Your Own at the Hotel 
  • 8:00 am -- Transportation Pickup from the Hotel (transportation will be provided)
  • 9:00 am-10:00 am -- Outlook of the Commercial Real Estate Market in Mexico City -- Presented by Miguel Cavazos, CCIM, SIOR, Chief Managing Partner, Citius Capital/CORFAC International at the Citius Capital Mexico City office 
  • 10:30 am-1:00 pm -- Morning Industrial Tour -- You'll have the opportunity to visit several different industrial parks in the morning in two different areas of the city. These parks are home to emerging markets for e-commerce/distribution and logistics centers, as well as some of the most recognizable names in the world: Amazon, Walmart and Hasbro to name a few.
  • 1:00 pm-2:30 pm -- Lunch at Los Virreyes -- Each participant will pay for their own food and drinks at the meal.
  • 2:45 pm-4:00 pm -- Afternoon Industrial Tour -- You'll visit two industrial parks in the Cuautitlán Izcalli area of Mexico City, including CPA San Martin Obispo, which has the most advanced infrastructure for an industrial park and is located in the most in-demand location in Mexico City.  
  • 4:00 pm-5:00 pm -- Transportation Back to the Hotel

Tuesday, March 3

  • 7:00 am-8:00 am -- Breakfast on Your Own at the Hotel 
  • 8:00 am -- Transportation Pickup from the Hotel (transportation will be provided)
  • 9:00 am-10:30 am -- Meeting at Prologis Offices and Tour of Santa Fe Office Park
  • 11:00 am-1:00 pm -- Tours of Two of Mexico City's Prestigious Office Corridors -- Highlights of these areas include: Torre Reforma, the second tallest skyscraper (808 ft. high); Torre Mayor, the building with the most seismic tolerance in the world (738 ft. high, fourth highest building in the country); the MetLife building; the Mexican Stock Market Building; Ernst & Young offices; P&G offices; Toshiba offices; and Nike.
  • Transportation Back to the Hotel/Conclusion of the Mexico City Tour
  • Afternoon/Evening Travel to Playa del Carmen for the Start of the 2020 Spring Conference (see Frequently Asked Questions for flight recommendations)
