CORFAC International congratulates the winners of the 2020 COR$TAR Awards, which recognize member firms and individuals for their in-network referral transactions.

The awards were announced during CORFAC’s Spring 2021 Virtual Board of Directors Meeting on April 28. The COR$TAR Awards recognize the largest member-to-member referral transactions for both volume and square footage, the brokers and firms with the most referrals and the largest cross-border deal the prior year. 

“Congratulations to all COR$TAR award recipients and to everyone who collaborated on transactions during the challenging year we had,” said 2021 CORFAC President Joe Latina, Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International in Wilmington, Delaware. “The pandemic underscored the true value of our CORFAC International relationships. Collectively we navigated an unprecedented market together and found many opportunities to do business with one another. I look forward to more robust referral activity as commercial real estate sectors continue to rebound.”

Largest Industrial Referral - Dollar Value and Square Feet 
Michael Feuerman, CCIM, SIOR, of Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, referred a $3.97 million, 54,000-square foot industrial lease in San Antonio, Texas, for client Woodfield Distribution to Steve Garza, CCIM, SIOR, of Providence Commercial Real Estate/CORFAC International in San Antonio, Texas. 

Largest Office Referral - Dollar Value
Don Konz of Donohoe Real Estate Services/CORFAC International in Washington, D.C., referred a $1.5 million office lease in Lexington, Massachusetts, for client SMS Data Products to James Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Largest Office Referral – Square Feet
Mike Scanzano of Wolf Commercial Real Estate/CORFAC International in Marlton, New Jersey, referred a 10,406-square foot office sublease for client Choc Zero in Secaucus, New Jersey, to Jackie Madden of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International in Chatham, New Jersey. 

Cross-Border Referral
Anton McGarvey of Farebrother/CORFAC International in London, England, referred a $7.5 million lease for client SkyePharma in Muttenz, Switzerland, to Daniel Shindleman, CCIM, MRICS, of Bridgemer AG/CORFAC International in Wollerau, Switzerland. 

Individual Broker with the Most Outbound Referrals
Congratulations to Jeff Garibaldi Sr., CCIM, of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International in Chatham, New Jersey, who referred seven transactions in the network last year. 

Firm with the Most Outbound Referrals 
Congratulations to The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International in Chatham, New Jersey, on referring ten transactions to other members in the network in 2020.

Individual Broker with the Most Inbound Referrals
Congratulations to James Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International in Lexington, Massachusetts, who received three transactions in the network last year. 

Firm with the Most Inbound Referrals 
Congratulations to Piedmont Properties of the Carolinas/CORFAC International in Charlotte, North Carolina, on completing four transactions that were referred to them by other members in the network in 2020.
