If I have already submitted my registration, can I still sign up for any tours or special events?
Yes. Contact Diann Harris at diann@corfac.com to make additions to your registration prior to the start of the summit. If you would like to sign up for any other tours or events while in Chicago, please visit the registration desk on-site. Events could be sold out if you don’t register ahead of time.

I don’t see committee meetings on the schedule. When are they taking place?
In order to maximize our time in Chicago, all committee meetings will be held via conference call prior to the Fall Summit. The Board of Directors and Executive Committee meeting (this is a closed meeting) are the only meetings that will take place on-site in Chicago.

What is the Rendezvous every night at 10:00 pm?
Rendezvous is the time set aside every night for drinks, informal networking, and getting to know your fellow CORFAC members better. This is not a CORFAC-sponsored event, so individuals are responsible for their own drink purchases. The location of the Rendezvous will be provided in the conference app and pocket guide.

When will the CORFAC Fall Summit App be available?
An e-mail will be sent to all summit attendees in mid-September with instructions on how to download and install the app on your electronic device. The CORFAC Fall Summit App provides all of the details on the summit and is updated in real-time if any schedule or room changes occur.

Anything else I need to know?
A daily e-mail will be sent to all summit attendees with a lineup of the day’s events, including any changes to the schedule. The registration desk will be open on Thursday afternoon and all-day Friday if you have any questions once you arrive on-site.

Is Chicago a safe city?
The location of the host hotel and surrounding city are safe. That said, Chicago has the same crime problems as any other major American city, so please be vigilant and stay cautious and alert. After dark, stick to well-lit streets along the Magnificent Mile and River North, which are all high-traffic areas late into the night. Be alert, don’t wear headphones, remove your badge, and stow your phone away while walking. If you find yourself in an area that does feel unsafe, you can always call an Uber or Lyft. The vast majority of Chicago’s crimes are in areas where visitors are unlikely to be walking around.

What COVID precautions are taking place at the host hotel?
CORFAC guests are a top priority at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel has heightened their sensitivity and awareness towards hygiene and cleanliness. They are following directions put forth by their brand, as well as state and national guidelines to best prevent any potential risks for guests and team members at the hotel. They have adopted enhanced hygiene procedures. This link will provide you with more information:  https://www.icchicagohotel.com/covid19
