CORFAC International Names 12 Young Professionals to launch its Next Generation Initiative

Hollywood, FL (July 14, 2008) – Approaching its 20th year as a nonprofit association of leading entrepreneurial and privately held commercial real estate service providers, CORFAC International has named 12 young professionals to an advisory council launching the CORFAC Next Generation Initiative.

The creation of the council is a move to facilitate the evolution of CORFAC International as an organization, adjust to changes in the industry and accommodate growth with CORFAC firms and their respective personnel. CORFAC International was established in 1989 and now has 68 member firms in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, plus an international strategic alliance with UK-based King Sturge to manage multi-market assignments globally.

“Our objective is to create and integrate the next generation of CORFAC firm brokers by actively involving them in CORFAC International. We want to insure our referral organization’s continued growth, viability and future success by developing future leaders,” said CORFAC International President (2008) James J. Garibaldi. Mr. Garibaldi is also Chief Executive Officer of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International, headquartered in Chatham, NJ.

According to CORFAC International Vice President Jeff Graham, SIOR, who is coordinating the initiative, the Next Generation plan emerged from the organization’s 2006 strategic plan when it was determined that the commercial real estate organization would benefit from input by a select group of under-35, accomplished sales professionals and brokers. The first 12 named to the council represent a cross section of CORFAC firms and will offer advice on using best business practices, marketing and technology that most effectively integrates newer brokers into the industry and into CORFAC.

Mr. Graham said: “We are really proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in our 19 years as an invitation-only referral organization and our ability to attract many of the finest people in commercial real estate. The initial professionals in the Next Generation Advisory Council will help us celebrate our 20th year and carry on the traditions we’ve established that have created value for all of our clients.” Mr. Graham is also President of King Industrial Realty/CORFAC International, based in Jacksonville, FL.
