Highly active, seasoned CRE Broker providing Retail Leasing, Land Sales, and Investment Brokerage in Mid-TN and SE US for 25 years! BIO: John Cavin has been a Broker with Southeast Venture in Nashville for 20 years and was employed in various Corporate Real Estate Executive positions for 10 years prior to that. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and later got his MBA degree from the Owen School at Vanderbilt. John began his career in Real Estate in 1989 working first as a Property Manager for Taco Bell Corporation, then as Director of Real Estate for Rite Aid Drugs, and was Director of Real Estate for Dollar General for 5 years where he built more than 400 stores before launching out on his own as an independent Broker/Agent in 2001. Mr. Cavin has extensive experience in land development and building sales, resolving legal entanglements, shopping center development, lender-owned REO sales, corporate account management, retail franchise expansion, office projects, and cash-flow 1031 investing. A sampling of clients include Wal-Mart, Exxon, Publix, Bank of Nashville (REO), Zaxbys, Firehouse Subs, Capital Bank & Trust, Saint Thomas Hospital, and National Healthcare (NHC) Corp.
