What are my transportation options from London’s Heathrow Airport to The Waldorf Hilton Hotel?
The Waldorf Hilton Hotel is located approximately 16 miles from Heathrow Airport. There are many different transportation options from Uber to taxi service to the high-speed Heathrow Express train. This link shows most of the options, including estimated costs:

What about transportation during the conference?
The Waldorf Hilton Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance for all scheduled Fall Summit events, as well as restaurants, bars and theatres. With the central location, additional transportation needs should not be required. Transportation (Tube tickets) will need to be purchased for off-site tours.

What’s included in my conference registration?
All Broker, Next Gen, and Broker Support Registrations include: speaker/session materials; access to meeting facilities/resources; 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches (including the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday afternoon); and 2 receptions. Please note: Happy Hour at the Somerset House on Tuesday evening is not included in your registration and requires an additional fee. 

What about guest registrations?
All guest registrations include 3 breakfasts, 2 receptions, and the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday afternoon. If your guest does not register for the full summit guest package and wants to participate in some activities, e-mail diann@corfac.com for ticket information. A fee will be charged for any non-registered persons without name badges attending any function. Please note: Happy Hour at the Somerset House on Tuesday evening is not included in your registration and requires an additional fee.

My spouse is traveling with me but is not a registered summit guest. Can they still attend the Silver Sturgeon Awards Luncheon cruise?
Non-registered guests are welcome to join us for the Silver Sturgeon Awards Luncheon, but must purchase a ticket for the event. Tickets are $220 USD/person. Contact Meetings and Membership Manager Diann Harris at diann@corfac.com or (224) 257-4302 if you would like to purchase a ticket.

What is the dress code for the summit?
The dress code for the CORFAC Fall Summit is business casual, including the Awards Luncheon.

I have already submitted my registration, can I still sign up for any tours or special events?
Yes. Contact Diann Harris at diann@corfac.com to make changes to your registration prior to the start of the summit. If you would like to sign up for any other tours or events while in London, please visit the registration desk on-site.

I don’t see committee meetings on the schedule. When are they taking place?
In order to maximize our time in London, all committee meetings will be held via conference call prior to the Fall Summit. The Executive Committee and the Board of Directors are the only two meetings that will take place on-site in London. Please note the Executive Committee Meeting is a closed meeting, but all attendees are encouraged to go to the Board of Directors Meeting. View the committee call schedule here.

I see cycling on the schedule, but not golf. Is there going to be a golf outing scheduled?

I want to participate in the Dine Around on Sunday night but I don’t see a spot to register for it -- what should I do?
The Dine Around in London will be an informal event that does not require advanced registration. If you would like to participate, simply head to the lobby of the Waldorf Hilton Hotel following the Opening Reception on Sunday night. From there, CORFAC staff will direct you and others to reserved tables at local restaurants. Each participant will pay for their own meal and drinks. 

I need assistance booking some additional tours and activities while I'm in London. Who should I contact?

What is VAT and how do I redeem it?
The Value Added Tax (VAT) is a 20 percent tax that is added to the cost of most goods and services in London. There is a process in place in order to redeem your VAT for certain allowable items. Does my health insurance cover me while in London?
Please check your medical insurance policy to make certain it provides coverage in London. If not, there are medical supplemental policies you can purchase for short periods of time at a reasonable price. Your medical provider should be able to provide a recommendation. 

Will I need a plug adaptor for my electronics?
If you are traveling from the United States, you will need a Type G plug adaptor. If you don’t purchase an adaptor ahead of time, you can find them in most shops and are typically less expensive if purchased in London.
