CORFAC International is pleased to announce Sim Doughtie, CCIM, MCR, SIOR, SLCR, President of King Industrial Realty, Inc./CORFAC International in Atlanta, GA, will begin his term as the network’s 2019 President on January 1. With more than 80 offices worldwide, CORFAC International will celebrate its 30th anniversary as a network in 2019. 

“It has been a tremendous year for our organization,” said 2018 President Andy Jaffe, Senior Vice President of Commercial Properties Inc./CORFAC International in Tempe, Arizona. “From hosting our first overseas Fall Summit in London to adding four new member firms domestically and abroad, it has been a prosperous year.” 

Incoming President Sim Doughtie has more than 30 years of experience in Atlanta’s industrial real estate sector. He has previously served on CORFAC's Executive Committee as Vice President and Secretary. He has also served as Standards of Excellence Committee Chair and on the Board of Directors. Doughtie was honored as the organization’s 2016 Olen Monsees Award recipient for going above and beyond the call of duty to improve the CORFAC network. He has served in numerous Atlanta-area commercial real estate leadership roles and is a frequent speaker at industry events.  

“I am truly honored to serve as the incoming president of CORFAC International,” Doughtie said. “In 2019 we will focus on building more business activity in the network and expanding the CORFAC International brand around the world.” 
 
“As 2018 comes to a close, I’d like to recognize outgoing President Andy Jaffe’s outstanding commitment to CORFAC,” Doughtie said. “His tireless efforts to spend time with CORFAC members around the world have strengthened our global network.”
