Golf at El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Course -- Optional Off-Site Event
El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Course offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep this course difficult yet friendly. This course hosted the first PGA Tour event outside the US and Canada and offers constantly changing views. Please note: This is an optional, ticketed event that requires an additional fee to participate.

Kenneth Smith served as Mexico´s Chief Negotiator for the modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) that led to the signing of the USMCA. He has been an integral part of Mexico’s negotiating team representing several government agencies, and began his career with the team negotiating NAFTA in 1992. During this session, Ken will share his insights on the new free trade agreement launching in North America.

Since 1994, O’Donnell has developed and acquired approximately 11.3 million square feet of industrial properties, in 9 markets throughout Mexico, investing $750 million in joint ventures with Prudential and AIG. In 2018, O’Donnell closed its first Mexican publicly listed fund, O’Donnell Capital Management, totaling $150 million, 25 percent of which has been committed.

Kenneth Smith is a Partner at AGON, a Mexican consulting firm that specializes in competition, regulatory affairs, and international trade. Ken focuses on helping international clients to identify trade and investment opportunities derived from the new generation of FTAs that Mexico has negotiated, such as CPTPP, the MX-EU FTA, and the NAFTA/USMCA.
