By 2025 President Daniel Shindleman, CCIM, MRICS, Bridgemer AG/CORFAC International
In person meetings amongst CORFAC members go a long way toward building profitable business relationships. This year’s Fall Summit in Amsterdam had all European affiliates present with great attendance from the USA and Canada. We missed our colleagues from Asia as well as the rest of the Americas, but you were close in our thoughts as we discussed new business opportunities.
We know that cross-border business has been increasing every year. And, this is expected to continue, whether it is non-U.S. companies wanting to have a presence or an expanded presence in the United States, or U.S. companies wanting to do business abroad. For U.S.-based companies, offshore assets are increasingly attractive, as political and economic change happens more rapidly than expected.
Amsterdam was an opportunity to build on this growing market momentum. The Fall Summit showed us the strength of the CORFAC global family. The expertise within CORFAC just waits for you to access it.
For example, Ben Kuykendall, Next Generation Committee chair, presented a new mentor program to allow our network's young professionals to benefit from the experience of members throughout our network. In addition, we thank Trent Scott, CCIM, our 2025 CORFAC Treasurer, for his tremendous effort in implementing our new closed transaction and client sharing system, which is rolling out with our new member database and website in the coming weeks.
In conclusion, our business is built on relationships and attending these face-to-face events is what truly matters. I wish to express my appreciation for being your 2025 CORFAC President. It is a privilege. I am grateful to be a part of the best commercial and investment real estate brokerage network in the world.
See you at the 2026 Spring Conference in New Orleans.
