CCIM Scholarship Created in Name of CORFAC Principal Duncan Patterson

CORFAC congratulates W. Duncan Patterson, CCIM, Principal of Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International in Wilmington, DE, who was recently honored by the PA/NJ/DE CCIM Institute Chapter with a newly created scholarship in his name.

The scholarship was established to honor individuals for their outstanding service to their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry and their communities. The scholarship also recognizes Darbin Skeans, CCIM, of SVN | Imperial Realty. Duncan served as President of the CCIM Institute in 2000 and is currently on the Board of Directors for the CCIM Foundation. He was instrumental in developing the course, Making Transactions Happen with Real Estate Gifting, which he teaches nationally. The course is administered by the CCIM Foundation and works to advance knowledge and professionalism in the field of commercial investment real estate. Skeans is a past president of the organization as well.

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in the fall and will help the recipient with the cost of the CCIM desigination course CI 103: User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate. With the approval of this and several new scholarships around the country, the CCIM Foundation now has 105 fully funded scholarships.
