CORFAC International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Member Excellence Awards, which recognize individuals who exemplify excellence, integrity, dedication, and participation in the CORFAC network. Winners were announced by CORFAC's 2023 President Hayim Mizrachi, CCIM, of MDL Group/CORFAC International, during the organization's Fall Summit in Detroit September 27-30. 

“Our Member Excellence Awards recognize the individuals who have made substantial contributions to CORFAC, helping to make us the best global network for independent brokerage firms in commercial real estate,” Mizrachi said. 

Charlie King MVP Award Winner
Daniel Shindleman, CCIM, MRICS, Principal of Bridgemer AG/CORFAC International in Wollerau, Switzerland, was recognized with the Charlie King MVP Award. Selected each year by the CORFAC President, the award recipient is considered the president’s most valuable player during the past 12 months. The award was created in honor of CORFAC co-founder Charlie King Jr., for his devoted and exceptional service to the organization. 

Shindleman has been instrumental in expanding CORFAC’s global footprint and creating engagement among our international members. From his service as chair of the International Committee to his role as Secretary (2022) and Treasurer (2023) of the organization, he has been a true champion of the network. Shindleman will serve as CORFAC’s Vice President next year before assuming the role of President in 2025. 
 
Thomas B. Hayes Jr. Award
The Thomas B. Hayes Jr. Award is given to a member who has made creative and unique contributions to the network. Brody Cohen of Capacity Commercial/CORFAC International in Portland, Oregon, was recognized with this distinction this year. Cohen has taken a strong leadership role with the network’s next generation initiatives, currently serving as Chair of CORFAC’s Next Gen Committee. He has been instrumental in implementing next gen programming and networking events at our biannual events.
