Memphis, TN (July 22, 2010) – New Breed Logistics, Inc. has renewed and expanded its industrial presence in the Memphis, TN area with a lease totaling 400,232 square feet at 4895 Citation Drive, Memphis TN.The lease was completed by Treat Macdonald, SIOR of Memphis-based Crump Commercial LLC/CORFAC International and referred by Steven Podolsky, SIOR of Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International in Chicagoand David Saltzman of Newmark Knight Frank in New Jersey.New Breed renewed its lease of approximately 236,600 square feet and expanded by an additional 163,632 square feet in the transaction. The property, which is near Shelby Drive and U.S. 78, is owned by CalPERS. The transaction is valued at approximately$5 million.In addition to the recent Citation Drive lease, in April 2009 New Breed expanded a Memphis facility by 127,000 square feet, and in October 2008 the Saltzman/Podolsky/Macdonald leasing team represented New Breed in two industrial leases totaling 469,232 square feet in Olive Branch, MS and Memphis, TN.
