CORFAC's 2018 Marketing and PR Highlights

CORFAC International continues to build the network’s brand across a wide range of media channels. Directed by CORFAC’s Communications Committee, the marketing and public relations initiatives this year have reached more industry professionals across more media outlets than ever before. Highlights follow:

Public Relations

  • CORFAC has received 1,370 media hits in 350 global media outlets. 

Thought Leadership:

  • Real Estate Forum: 2 thought leadership articles.
  • Bisnow: 4 sponsored content and thought leadership videos.
  • Connect Media: 2 national thought leadership interviews.
  • France Media: Over a dozen articles written by or including interviews with CORFAC members in France Media’s regional real estate journals.
  • 2 thought leadership articles and 1 video.
  • Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal: More than a dozen articles written by or including interviews with CORFAC members.
  • National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals: 2 thought leadership blog articles.

2018 Industry Distinctions:

  • #11 Lipsey Top Brands in Commercial Real Estate Survey
  • #18 National Real Estate Investor Top Brokers List
  • #27 Midwest Real Estate News Best of the Best
  • 22 CORFAC members and firms were recognized as CoStar Power Brokers

New Logo and Branding Guidelines:

  • CORFAC rolled out a new customizable logo for firms to use on their websites, personal e-mail signatures, marketing materials and more.
  • Developed new branding guidelines and shared with all firms for the new logo implementation.

New Advertising Campaign:

  • CORFAC rolled out a new ad campaign this year.  
  • Print and digital ads appeared in, Bisnow, France Media, Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal and Midwest Real Estate News.  

Marketing Materials:

  • CORFAC rolled out six customizable marketing templates, including a customizable article and a customizable branded PowerPoint presentation.

Industry Events:

  • For the second straight year, CORFAC and 6 member firms had a booth at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ RECon.
  • CORFAC had a booth presence at the CCIM and SIOR Fall Conferences.
  • CORFAC members had a presence at MIPIM and Expo Real tradeshows. Highlights:

  • Visits to have increased 94% over 2017, in large part due to increased social media activity and digital content placements.

Videos and Live Streaming:

  • CORFAC released a new corporate marketing video and 8 thought leadership videos featuring members this year.
  • CORFAC live-streamed and recorded Mark Dotzour’s keynote presentation at the 2018 Spring Conference in Austin, Texas.

Social Media:

  • CORFAC has seen a 20 percent overall increase across all of our social media channels this year (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook).
  • Ran 5 Facebook ads featuring articles, videos, infographics and modified Mars ad image resulting in 427,069 impressions. Ran 1 LinkedIn sponsored content post featuring the international article that originally appeared in and resulting in 5,579 impressions.
  • Ran 1 Google ad campaign this year in the month of June resulting in 44,571 impressions and 898 clicks to the CORFAC website.
  • 1 additional Facebook ad campaign and 1 additional LinkedIn ad campaign are scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2018.
