Charlotte, NC (December 8, 2010) – Piedmont Properties of the Carolinas/CORFAC International, a leading full-service commercial real estate provider serving the North and South Carolina markets, today announced that they been awarded the assignment to market some of AAC’s excess land. Sites include locations in: Bryton Town Center, Huntersville NC; Whitehall Corporate Center, Charlotte NC; Mint Hill Commons, Mint Hill NC; Mint Hill Festival, Mint Hill NC; Shopton Ridge Business Park, Highway 73 and I-85 Land Parcels, Concord NC. In an effort to maximize exposure for these sites, we are also pleased to announce that Luke J. Daube has joined the firm as a Sales/Leasing Broker. Jim Plyler will be heading up the marketing efforts along with Luke Daube.Mr. Daube is moving to Charlotte from Raleigh and he specializes in Landlord/Tenant Representation for office properties. Luke has seven years experience in the commercial real estate industry. Before joining Piedmont Properties/CORFAC International, he was with Grubb & Ellis/Thomas Linderman Graham/ in Raleigh, NC. During his time in commercial real estate, Luke has completed transactions with prominent regional and national companies such as SciMetrika, Duke University Health System, Turner Construction Company, The Medical Foundation of NC, RCI, Mutual of Omaha, Liberty Home Care and Coldwell Banker|Howard Perry & Walston. Previously he worked for Starmount Company as a Leasing Representative and Personal Financial Network, Inc. as a Financial Counselor. Collectively, Mr. Daube has been responsible for real estate transactions totaling a gross aggregate value of over $14,000,000. Mr. Daube has volunteered in support of The Salvation Army and Ronald McDonald House.Mr. Daube received a B.A. from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
