Nicholas Miner Of Commercial Properties Inc. /CORFAC International Named To CCIM Technologies Board Of Directors

Phoenix, AZ January 6, 2010) – Commercial Properties, Inc.(CPI)/CORFAC International of Scottsdale, AZ today announced that Nicholas L. Miner, CCIM, Vice President – Investments,  has been named to the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Technologies Board of Directors.Mr. Miner’s responsibilities as a member of the Technologies Board of Directors include providing direction and oversight of the organization’s technology initiatives, including CCIM’s Site To Do Business and CCIM’s Real Estate Data Exchange.Mr. Miner was simultaneously appointed to serve as the Master of Ceremonies for “CCIM Live!” -- the 2011 CCIM October Conference in Phoenix. In this capacity he will be involved in arranging session panels and introducing speakers. Sessions will focus on topics such as transaction financing, generating revenue through technology, business opportunities in emerging markets, and many other popular topics.Only about 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. More than 50 CORFAC International sales professionals are CCIMs.Mr. Miner has completed more than $107 million in sales and leasing activity since he began his professional career in real estate in 1999. He joined CPI in September 2010.Prior to joining CPI, Mr. Miner was a partner in a brokerage company formed within Eagle Commercial Realty Services, AMO®.  Previously, he was an associate at a commercial brokerage company in Tempe, AZ where he specialized in investment sales and office leasing. He also worked for Marcus & Millichap as a sales assistant/agent. He began his commercial real estate career working in the Office Leasing Division and the Investment Sales Division of CB Richard Ellis/MEGA in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Miner also teaches commercial real estate electives at the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business instructing real estate practitioners in navigating the commercial real estate market.Mr. Miner is a member of the CCIM, ICSC, ULI professional organizations. He is a licensed broker in the state of Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with dual specializations in Accounting and Real Estate & Land Use Economics from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.Since 1969, the Chicago-based CCIM Institute has conferred the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation to commercial real estate and allied professionals through an extensive curriculum of 200 classroom hours and professional experiential requirements.
