Sim Doughtie, SIOR, CCIM, MCR and President of King Industrial Realty Inc./CORFAC International in Atlanta is the 2011 President of the SIOR Georgia Chapter. In November he took part in a 550-person fundraiser at SIOR’s Leadership Breakfast at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. Wills Allen, Chris Dempsey and Bronson Smith were ebullient after receiving SIOR scholarships to help further their educations at Georgia State and Emory, while The Study Hall board and Executive Director Jaquetta Watkinsreceived a donation from SIOR to assist the South Atlanta non-profit after-school program in its mission.“The proceeds from this networking and charitable event were contributed to benefit The Study Hall (after school program for under privileged children), Centers of Hope, and the Bright Futures Academy. We were also able to present $2,000 scholarships to three very deserving young people as they continue their education in real estate,” said Doughtie.
